The man on the moon has been burdened with a rather lonesome life. Isolated, he yearns for something he never had— love. But what woman would possibly want to live on the moon? One day he gives up fishing and dedicates his life to planting anything to bring this desolate place to life. He hopes the beautiful roses he planted will catch the attention of his soulmate, wherever she may be. And so the man goes about painting the moon red with them as each day passes until it’s been decades. Tragically, the day comes but she has no way of getting up to the moon to be by his side. The man withers away tortured of what could be, always looking down at the cosmos that keep them forever apart. Now every time she looks up she is only reminded of her Moonlit Sorrow.
